The S'quires
Formed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1959, The S'quires comprised of Greg Thomas, Nes Davison, Al Cook, Mark Hornby and Roy Wilcox. After a court challenge by Capitol Records over copyright infringement of the Ottawa band with the same name, Calgary’s Esquires became The S'quires. Hornby became a school teacher. Thomas became a booking agent and promoter.
