Chris Pilgram

Real name: Christoffel Pilgram

Effective period / Period of releases: 1979

Born in Eindhoven on June 3, 1949. He wrote songs, arranged for and co-operated with Herman van Veen, Ramses Shaffy, Liesbeth List, Loeki Knol, Lenny Kuhr, etc.
He debuted for TV with the titlesong for the teenage-programme "Waauw" in 1966, released by Dutch popband the Jay-Jays in october 1966. In 1967 he wrote the soundtrack for the Dutch movie "Verloedering van de Swieps" (including Ramses Shaffy), which included the song "Zuinig met haar zinnen". From the early '80's onward he also was active on the international market as a songwriter, which wasn't all that usual in Holland yet.
