Jack Richardson

Real name: Jack Arnold Richardson

Jack Richardson (born 23 July 1929 in Toronto, Canada and died 13 May 2011 in London, Canada) was a Canadian musician and record producer. He was a co-founder of Nimbus 9 Productions Limited and its subsidiaries Soundstage, Toronto and J.A.M.F. His production company was J.A.R. Productions.

He has worked with The Guess Who, Alice Cooper and Poco, among others. The Juno Award for Producer of the Year has been named in his honour since 2002. Father of engineer Craig Richardson (aka Cub Richardson), musician/engineer Garth Richardson (aka Gggarth), film tech Kelly Richardson (5), and image consultant Tracy Richardson (2).
