Massimo (Max) Sanna and Francesco Giovannini are the Soulcast duo. They teamed up in 2001 and they come from different musical experiences.

Massimo Sanna played piano for 7 years during his youth, and moved to electronic music as the first sequencers arrived on the market at the age of 16, while Francesco was a DJ at the time. Since then, they always worked together, in different fields of dance music, from techno to soulful/funky house.

They appeared under some different names during the years (some techno projects under the nickname 2Advanced, Lovemakers, 4 Sins, Soulcast), and between their productions we can annoverate Lovemakers - This Feeling, released by Oxyd Records, which reached the first positions in every UK chart in 2004-2005 and has been licensed worldwide.

Lovemakers productions are really 70's-like tunes, with real instruments and the soulful voice of Sarah Grimaldi, which works together with the pop/blues author Zucchero Fornaciari.
