Based in Richmond, California, USA, husband/wife duo consisting of Ryan Marquez (Apple Orchard, Sodajerk (3)) and Lorelie Landavora-Marquez (Spring Boutique) began recording in 2005 as Golden Teardrops (their name was taken from a Francis Macdonald-penned BMX Bandits song). Golden Teardrops are influenced by Sixties Pop and Psychedelia as well as by the works of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys.
