Real name: María Victoria Ledesma Cuevas

Rosa de Castilla was a Mexican folk singer and actress who achieved stardom during the golden age of Mexican cinema. She also proved to be a popular recording artist and was one of Musart's best-selling artists in the 1950s. In 1967, she signed a contract with RCA Victor and recorded several hit albums and singles with the famous Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán.
