Peter Marston

Peter Marston began his musical career in 1977 playing bass and singing with the L.A. folk-punk band The Onlys, whose only recorded output was the EP The Onlys - Serves Six. Shortly later, he formed the power-pop trio The Phlaix with the brothers Sanger (George and Dave). At about the same time, he played on and produced a single by The Mar Mars. In 1982, he joined The Corsairs, only to be replaced a couple years later by Roger Joseph Manning Jr..

Since 1994, he has been the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for Shplang, recording six albums of psych-pop.
