The Dodgems are a four piece Rock and Roll band from Sheffield consisting of Phil Goodwin (Guitar/Lead Vocals), Tommy Goodwin (Piano/Keyboard/Organ/Backing Vocals), Chris Murray (Bass Guitar) and Eric Miller (Drums and Percussion). The band was signed by Alan McGee to his poptones label after a bidding war between several labels. Tipped to follow in the footsteps of previous McGee signing Oasis. Their first major single "It's Alright" was released on 8 August 2005.Original line up included Nick O'Malley who went on to replace Andy Nicholson as bassist for Arctic Monkeys.
