Anne Marie Moss Free Music

Anne Marie Moss

Canadian jazz vocalist. Self-taught, she started her career in the early 50s and during that decade she sang with the bands of Norman Symonds, Ron Collier, Don D.T. Thompson, Maynard Ferguson and Count Basie. For a brief period she replaced Annie Ross in Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. She married Jackie Paris in 1961 and toured and recorded with him until 1980, when she resumed her solo career. Starting in 1987 she taught voice at the Manhattan School Of Music.
