The Main-Frankfurt Baroque Orchestra specializes in the interpretation of early music on original instruments. Aside from early Italian and French Baroque music, the Main-Frankfurt Baroque Orchestra also pays special interest to many forgotten works of composers such as Johann Wilhelm Hertel, Johann Melchior Molter and Johann Friedrich Fasch. Under the direction of concertmaster Martin Jopp, the orchestra's repertoire includes recordings of pure instrumental, operas and oratorios.
