Effective period / Period of releases: 2006

The band Spaun was formed in the middle of 00s and played at that moment alternative metal with female vocals. In time, the music of Spaun transformed into more rockish with soft melodic sound. In 2006, Spaun had released the only official EP “Stereoscope”. It was a self-released limited edition. The EP material was influenced by gothic music and included electronic elements apart from the alternative past. 8 tracks became the golden mean between synth-rock and alternative rock with clear gothic rock influence. After the EP the music of Spaun became more and more electronic and English lyrics was changed by Russian. In 2008 and 2009 several songs of the electrogoth genre were released. In 2009 Spaun was disbanded and Ivan Derbenev the guitarplayer created gothic electro project Antilav.
