Silenzium was created in 2004 by young musicians from Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society. Silenzium is a classical string trio with the addition of electronic sound and a drum set, which breaks all the stereotypes about a traditional sound of a string band.

The musicians search for the most varying types of sounds of their instruments, from elevated classics to hard alternative.

The repertoire of the band consists from rock versions of classical pieces by J.S. Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Grieg, Orff, Prokofiev, Borodin, Musorgsky and many other composers. Also, the band performs cover versions of well-known songs by Metallica, Rammstein, Queen, Nirvana, Megadeth, Death, Korn, Prodigy as well as their own compositions.
