René Dif was born the 17 October 1967 in Copenhagen (Denmark).
He is best known as the male vocalist in group Aqua.
His first release a single called "Så rykker vi (Stedet hvor det rykker)" was with the band Stop & Stop.
Together with Ali Movasat (later known as DJ Aligator) he formed the band Factual Beat and released the album "Groove Your Soul". They didn't get success and the group fell apart.
From 1994 to 2001 he was part of Aqua. After split-up he has released some solo singles, "Let It All Out (Push It)", "The Uhh Uhh Song" and "Uhh La La La".
He has since featured in a couple of movies and writhen his biography called "Popdreng".
