UK musical prog rock/pop rock group formed around Birmingham and The Black Country, England.
Originally active from c.1985 to c.1995, the band reformed in 2010 to record new materials.
1986 ARK's first line-up consisted of Ant (vocals & flute), Pete Wheatley (lead guitar), Steve Harris (guitar synth), Steve's brother Andy Harris (bass) and Gary Davis (drums).
Late in 2009, Ant Short, Peter Wheatley and Steve Harris had reformed Ark, with John Jowitt and new member Tim Churchman from Darwin's Radio on drums.
