The Leprechauns
Effective period / Period of releases: 1965
The Leprechauns formed in Sydney c.late 1964. The members were three expat Irishmen: Bill Longridge (Sean), George Callaghan (Mick) and George Shaw (Liam). Longridge returned to Ireland, the two Georges remained in Australia. Callaghan pursued a career as an artist in Hobart. The three collaborated on "100 Chocolate Soldiers", a children's book by Longridge and published in 1980.
