Recorded and toured with Sly & The Family Stone, Parliament–Funkadelic, and was an original member of Brides Of Funkenstein with Dawn Silva1978–1979.
In 1978, with Dawn, released the successful Brides Of Funkenstein - Funk Or Walk album. The Bride's first single release on Atlantic Records, "Disco To Go", sold over five hundred thousand units, and was certified Gold.


She went on to work with the Talking Heads, Stevie Nicks, George Michael, and Sheila E. Co-founder of Elevate Hope Foundation with Sheila E.
