Mexican bolero singer. María Marcelina Rebeca Silva Cosío (Mexico City, April 26, 1925 - Guadalajara, Jalisco, May 7, 2002), artistically known as Rebeca, was a Mexican singer, the last official interpreter of the composer Agustín Lara. She released the latest compositions by Lara. She recorded her first album, Señora Tentación, in 1959 and a year later she won the Golden Disc.
Her albums were edited by RCA Víctor and had great success in the sixties. He recorded his last album, Rebeca interpreta a Agustín Lara, in the seventies for the Discos Orfeón label.
