Pete Stamper

American comedian, songwriter, musician, author, broadcaster and entertainer.Born in Dawson Springs and active in Renfro Valley, Kentucky.
He was a part of Red Foley’s “Ozark Jubilee” television show, the Grand Ole Opry, and the “Porter Wagoner Show”. In the mid-1970s, he served as road manager to Dolly Parton. He also worked with Patsy Cline, Wanda Jackson, Jim Ed Brown, Jean Shepherd and more.
