Peter Van Eck
Real name: Felix Josef Schwarz
German singer, saxophonist and composer, born 1927 in Bernsdorf (today Bernatice, Czech Republic). His family moved 1938 to Berlin. He was part of the Berliner Mozartchor. Later in the early 1950s she studied bassoon and played with the Berliner Sinfonie-Orchester. At the same time, he formed the big band "Tusma-Tanzorchester". In the mid 1950s he formed the "Panamas" who recorded one Single for AMIGA. In 1959 he put the Peter Van Eck's Quintett together and played with them until 1964, after he fronted the Orchester Peter van Eck until 1970. Thereafter he owned a disco in Upper Bavaria, in 1974 he and his family moved to spain.
