American classically trained composer and musician. A graduate from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a major in music composition, he lived in Japan for fourteen years, where he composed, performed, produced and recorded experimental music with Toru Takemitsu, Joji Yuasa, Aki Takahashi and Toshi Ichiyanagi. Today he divides his time composing for orchestra, theater, chorus and electronics.
