American clarinetist, conductor and teacher (born 1959).

Cohler received a bachelor's degree in physics from Harvard University in 1980. He studied clarinet with Boston Symphony Orchestra clarinetists Pasquale Cardillo & Harold Wright, Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra clarinetist Karl Leister, and clarinet soloists Charles Neidich and Frank Martin.
Cohler has toured the United States, Europe, South-east Asia and Latin America, and performed at many North American festivals
