Pat Coombs

Real name: Patricia Doreen Coombs

Pat Coombs was an English actress. She was known for many roles on radio, film and television sitcoms, often playing scatty and downtrodden women. Film credits include On the Buses (1971), Dad's Army (1971), Till Death Us Do Part (1968) and Carry On Again Doctor (1969). Her many television credits include Don't Drink the Water, EastEnders, You're Only Young Twice, Birds of a Feather, Till Death Us Do Part and In Sickness and In Health. She also frequently appeared on children's television in series such as Ragdolly Anna, Playbox, Rainbow, Supergran and The Basil Brush Show. Pat Coombs moved to Denville Hall actor's home to be close to her long-time friend, Peggy Mount (who died six months before her).

Died: May 25th 2002, Northwood, Greater London, England) at the age of 75 with emphysema.
