Catalan composer and editor, began in music to the "Fundació Escolar de Sant Josep de Cluny" in Caldes de Malavella, and complement the studies of self-taught. He was the pianist of the orchestra Jadris, and then stood as a composer of dance. He abandoned the genre in the forties, and helped initially by Pere Mercader adopted Sardana as a unique form of music, and worked with just as much intensity as Vicenç Bou. With a simple style and heavily influenced by dance (in particular, the paso doble) was becoming gradually the composer present in the schedules to the extent that the street sardanisme the time was adopted as an idol.
