Daniel Pico is a non-musician, painter, writer, director and artist of countercultural design known in the beginning for the comic Ismael and Agripak (1991); comic that began its distribution in the hate magazine: Zero Punk Zine by the same author, published until 1993.
Founding member of N.CH. (1990). Illustrator for bands and concert posters. He founded his underground Red Tape label around 20020. In 2005, he created the Red Tape collective as a Net Label for free distribution of Ecuadorian material.
In 2009, he began the project Epístolas del Abismo dedicated to the interpretation of works of a dark genre through the use of graphic and sound art.
In 2011, together with Christian Proaño, he founded the Red de Ruidistas Quiteño Libre for the free participation of sound artists nationwide.
In 2012, together with the scenic artist Diego Pérez Terán, he mounted the itinerant play Umbral del Psicopompo.
