Real name: Jeanne Ewing

American vocalist, originally from Texas but relocated to California in the 1940s. Ewing started her career at the age of eight doing a singing and dancing solo act with Ben Bernie and his band in New York. Afterward, she formed a duo with her younger sister, The Ewing Sisters, and started performing at local events in Texas. Their success took the sisters to Los Angeles, where they performed with various artists, recorded for Capitol Records, and had their own television show on KTLA. Jeanne got married in 1950, and eventually retired from the show business. She made a comeback over a decade later, and released two albums, "Love Like It Is" (1968), and "Wax Museum" (1970).
