Real name: Andrew Hill

Andrew Hill a.k.a Maxx Roach. Cardiff based Producer first started making beats in 2008, sitting firmly with the bass heavy 140bpm sounds of Dubstep. Over the following 3 years a movement down the tempo ladder to the more fluid and groove orientation of House Music, this transition came slowly and some of the ideas around Dubstep have still remained within his tracks.

His Dj sets still reflect this transition, often working the way up, through, and between both genres. With sets composed nearly entirely of vinyl there is always the possibility of some classic tracks mixed in with the new big tracks.

With his first release a collaboration with fellow Cardiffian ‘Lung’. The track entitled ‘Booty Call’ is the highly anticipated debut from Deadplate Records.
