Japanese crossover metal group from Nagoya

Formed and debuted in 1995 with a demo seeing the band comprising a trio of vocalist/guitarist You Adachi, bass player Hideyuki Osanai and drummer Yasuhiro Shimobayashi. The group boosted its numbers with the addition of second guitarist Kouji Yamamoto and keyboard player Yukihiro Sakakibara for a seven song promo tape the following year. An all new look Sliter, retaining Adachi and Yamamoto, inducted a fresh rhythm section of bassist Keisuke Yamamoto and drummer Hidehiko Ogawa for the 1997 'Smile Away' demo.

Sliter returned in 2000 with recordings cut by Adachi, guitarist Iwane Horie, bassist Takashi Kato and drummer Akihiro Tajima. The next year the band donated two tracks, 'By Way Of Caution' and 'Thrash Out' to the compilation album 'The Red Hot Burning Hell vol.4'. Sumi Yuzuru was the new man on guitar in 2003 as Sliter laid down yet another demo. Optic Records released 'Think Other Wise' in 2005.
