Alejandro Wills
Real name: Alejandro Wills Vargas
Colombian singer, tiplist, guitarist, composer and arranger born in Bogota in 1887. Died in Girardot (Cundinamarca) in 1943He composed and arranged more than 200 works and together with composers such as Pedro Morales Pino and Luis A. Calvo they starred in the so-called “Golden Era” of Colombian music. His repertoire includes bambucos, corridors and joropos such as “El Galerón Llanero”, one of the most popular and widely spread joropos in Colombia.
