Phil Portuesi
Real name: Phillip Portuesi
Phil Portuesi is a Singer, Guitarist, Songwriter, and Drummer from Staten Island, New York. Phil was drummer for the early 1980's New York City HardCore Punk band Rapid Deployment, and the Punk/HardCore band Victims Of Society (2). Victims Of Society (2) released the single "Look's So Easy (When You're Young)" b/w "Another Point of View" and "The Act Becomes Real" on New York indie-label Trebb Records in 1983. VOS disbanded in 1984. In 2007 Grand Theft Audio records in California released a 27-Song CD compalation of VOS's material, including their 3-song 45, two shows at CBGB's from 1983, and nine songs from a band rehearsal from June 1984. Phil (also known as Phil Cadaver) also led the bands New Rose and The Blame, as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist.
