Attivo da più di 20 anni il Link Quartet è uno dei pochi gruppi italiani a poter vantare due tour americani coast to coast, l’ultimo dei quali nella primavera del 2004 per la promozione della colonna sonora dello spy movie Wilson Chance. In questi anni la band ha calcato palchi prestigiosi come il GO! Lleida ’60 Festival in Spagna, il 100 Club di Londra, l’Our Way of Thinking di Chicago, il Club Au-go-go di Los Angeles e il Printemps de Bourges in Francia, dove i Link si sono esibiti con Melissa Auf Der Maur, Yeah Yeah Yeahs e Calexico; hanno aperto per gruppi del calibro di Manu Chao, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley, James Taylor Quartet, Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express, Downliners Sect, Chocolate Watch Band e Bonniwell Music Machine oltre ad aver girato in lungo e in largo l’Europa condividendo il palco con Big Boss Man, Men from S.P.E.C.T.R.E., Sugarman 3, Speaklow, Diplomats of Solid Sound, Boogaloo Communicators, Montefiori Cocktail, Leslie Overdrive e molti altri. Sono di casa a Londra dove, oltre a essere coccolati dalla Acid Jazz Records, che li ha voluti per la sua ultima compilation “Exile on Hammond Street vol.3”, fanno apparizione fissa su radio BBC6 e BBC2 nei seguitissimi show di Craig Charles e Mark Radcliffe.

Active for more than 20 years, the Link Quartet is one of the few Italian groups that can boast two coast-to-coast American tours, the last of which in the spring of 2004 for the promotion of the soundtrack of the spy movie Wilson Chance. In recent years the band has performed on prestigious stages such as the GO! Lleida '60 Festival in Spain, the 100 Club in London, Our Way of Thinking in Chicago, Club Au-go-go in Los Angeles and the Printemps de Bourges in France, where Link performed with Melissa Auf Der Maur, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Calexico; they have opened for the likes of Manu Chao, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley, James Taylor Quartet, Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, Downliners Sect, Chocolate Watch Band and Bonniwell Music Machine as well as touring extensively l 'Europe sharing the stage with Big Boss Man, Men from S.P.E.C.T.R.E., Sugarman 3, Speaklow, Diplomats of Solid Sound, Boogaloo Communicators, Montefiori Cocktail, Leslie Overdrive and many more. They are at home in London where, in addition to being pampered by Acid Jazz Records, who wanted them for their latest compilation "Exile on Hammond Street vol.3", they make regular appearances on BBC6 and BBC2 radios in the very popular shows of Craig Charles and Mark Radcliffe.
