Also known as Billie Daniel, or Billie Daniel Frierson

The 1960s, Daniel and her husband bass-baritone vocalist Andrew Frierson (m. 1953) often performed as a duo, and sang excerpts from George Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, and recorded excerpts for RCA Victor record club. She also portrayed Clara in the New York City Center revival of the play in 1961.
