(Born in San Diego 1949, died April 28th 2002) Composer, performer, and researcher of music, besides his work in electronic music, being a noted jazz performer and african music specialist he was for many years head of the Cognitive Science Master's Program at the University of Melbourne in Australia and senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology.
