Eric Berman was born in Tel Aviv, to parents born in Israel. When he was three years old, his parents divorced. Berman became interested in music at the age of 16, when he started playing the piano and guitar independently. After his military service, he began his studies at the Rimon High School of Music. During his studies Berman made connections with other artists including Aya Korem and Itay Pearl.
