This local group from Charlotte, NC, USA, began as so many small bands do with schoolmates combining talents, and that's what 13-yr old Nat Speir and Charles Van Wagner did back in 1958. As the group matured, they added and subtracted personnel until in 1964 Bob Meyer (6) joined the group and fronted it as its lead vocalist.
