Irish fiddler, born 1957 in Dublin and began working professionally at age 16. Has recorded and toured Europe extensively, both solo and with several influential Irish groups, including The Chieftains, Patrick Street, and Planxty. Has also been presenter of the “Pure Drop” series for Irish TV.Son of Clare musician John Kelly, brother of fiddler John Kelly (9).
