Oscar Alonso

Oscar Alonso was an Argentine tango singer who was born on October 12, 1912 in the town of Ameghino, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina and died in Buenos Aires, on January 16, 1980. His father was Pedro Brandán, who worked as herdsman and is one of the real life characters that, according to Ricardo Güiraldes wrote in the dedication of Don Segundo Sombra, inspired his work.
