Norteño group formed in 1978 in Nuevo León, Monterrey, Mexico.

In the beginning, the group mostly played in street fairs, parties, and other events. It wasn't until 1981 when Discos DLV signed them for a record deal. They became International stars in 1983 with their hit song, "Mi Casa Nueva", which went gold in Mexico. The song "Mi Casa Nueva" is actually a cover, as the legendary norteño group Los Alegres De Terán were the first ones who performed the song.

In 1993, Lalo Mora left the group to become a solo artist. The risk was worth it as he became very popular among the Mexican and Mexican-American community.
