American country music singer.
Born July 2, 1957 Helena, Arkansas, U.S.

Daughter of country music singer Conway Twitty. She is married to singer/songwriter John Wesley Ryles. Also sister of Michael Twitty, Kathy Twitty and Jimmy Twitty.
She was featured in a duet with her father on the song "Don't Cry Joni" which he wrote for the occasion. This led to her recording an album and having some success on the country charts. She charted five times between 1975-8, including "I'm Sorry Charlie", which landed at #16 in 1975. She also recorded several singles as Joni Penn.
