Amsterdams Philharmonisch Orkest

Dutch orchestra from Amsterdam that was previously known as the Kunstmaandorkest. In June 1969 the yearly Kunstmaand event, which the orchestra was named after, was discontinued and the Kunstmaandorkest officially changed its name to Amsterdams Philharmonisch Orkest. Anton Kersjes was the conductor.In 1985, the orchestra merged into the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest (2).
