Real name: Edvard Dmitriyevich Syomin

Эдуард Семин - Edvard Dmitriyevich Syomin (1945- ) Soviet pianist.
He began music studies at the age of eight, with Natalia Moiseyeva.
Between 1964 and 1972, Syomin studied at the Gnessin Institute of Music with Олег Бошнякович Oleg Boshnyakovich, a pupil of Константин Игумнов Konstantin Igumnov.

Between 1969 and 1988 Syomin made several recordings at the State Radio of the USSR, and the State Recording Company “Melodiya”. His repertoire pinpoints the music of the 19th and 20th centuries’ works, especially the ones less recognised o even unknown.
