Cartoon bear family created by Stan And Jan Berenstain, first appearing in 1962 in a book published by Dr. Seuss. The family members include Mama, Papa, Brother, Sister (beginning in 1974) and baby Honey (beginning in 2000). Over 365 books featuring the bears have been published, as well as animated television programs.
