Curiously, there were two Dave Kennedys that recorded on the Cuca label in the early Sixties. This is the one from Milwaukee, not to be confused with the Dave Kennedy from La Crosse that recorded as Dave Kennedy & The Ambassadors. This Dave Kennedy recorded five singles on various labels between 1959-61, then went on to found his own label, the prolific Raynard, in Milwaukee. According to Gary Myer's "Do You Hear That Beat" Wisconsin discography, Kennedy was a multi-instrumentalist who overdubbed all of the parts on some of his records.
