Ferdinando Bertoni
Real name: Ferdinando Gasparo Bertoni

Italian organist and composer (1725-1813), studied in Brescia and Bologna. In 1745 he settled down in Venice, in 1752 he became first organist at San Marco. He was called to London because of his reputation as composer; there he stayed for four years. He composed about forty operas, oratorios, masses, psalms, cantatas, quartets and sonatas for harpsichord and organ.
