Real name: Hendrik Doreleijers

Henk Dorel (born on November 30, 1907 in Utrecht, Netherlands., died on January 3, 1993 Laren, Netherlands) for decades was the most used singer by the various broadcasters (but mainly on NCRV and KRO) right after the war. Dorel had his big break with the popular song "Hup Holland Hup", written by Jan de Cler. He married Maria Gertrudis Castermans, with whom he had two children Anna Maria and Petrus.
