Rob Olson was a radio DJ who had a show on WNUR (89.3 FM) which was a non commercial radio station based in Evanston, Illinois and could be heard in the Chicago area.
Active around 1986/1987 and perhaps beyond those years, he was eager to promote House Music in the UK. He obtained licensing rights to several tracks from various Chicago based record labels. He then went on to work with Rhythm King Records in the UK to compile several compilations. He would also appear sporadically on Jazzy M's 'The Jackin' Zone' on LWR (London Wide Radio) via a transatlantic link.
