Mustangs
Rochester's Mustangs were named grand champions of the Minnesota State Fair Battle of the Bands, triumphing over 16 finalists. The contest was held in the Teen Fair section. Members of the band were Terry Klampe, Mark Enblom, Gordon Scudamore and Rob Martens. Along with the trophy, they received a recording contract with Soma Records of Minneapolis.
