Classical pianist, born 1952 in Kharkov, U.S.S.R. (now Ukraine). He was a piano student of Павел Серебряков at the Leningrad Conservatoire, and emigrated to Western Europe in July 1977. After having been a professor at Conservatorium Utrecht, The Netherlands, he was a recitalist, concerto and chamber music player. After damage within his right arm, he moved to rural Belgium where he continued as a composer and arranger for film and television.

Formed the Amsterdam Piano Trio, with violinist Shin Sihan and pianist Yang Yang Cai in 2017.
