Jean-Marie Benjamin, born April 11, 1946 in Salon-de-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) is a French music composer, conductor, writer, director and film producer. A Catholic priest, he's known to have written the lyrics to a few songs of the soundtrack for the Franco Zeffirelli movie Fratello Sole Sorella Luna (with music by Riz Ortolani), which he adapted from Saint Francis of Assisi's "Cantico delle creature".
