In the beginning, the group that would come to be billed as Heaven Bound was known as The Foundations. The early group recorded on the Tri-State Recording Company and Mission Records labels. After the name change, Heaven Bound was associated with several other labels over the years including Trail Records, QCA, Calvary, Wind Chime, and others. Ken Eubanks played piano and managed the group until shortly before it dissolved in the early 2000s.
