Ländlerkapelle Waldhüsli
Members: Hugo Limacher, Ernst Wallimann Junior, Seppi Fanger, Tony Odermatt, Noldi Wallimann, Ernst Wallimann Senior
Ländlerkapelle Waldhüsli was founded in 1948 by Ernst Wallimann in the village of the same name in Switzerland.The co-founders were the brass player Niklaus Jakober and the bass player Josef Fanger.
A short time later, the clarinetist Walter Fanger von Stalden and the piano player Noldi Wallimann joined the formation.
From 1953 Toni Odermatt von Alpnach replaced Walter Fanger on the clarinet. In 1960 Niklaus Jakober left the chapel for health reasons.
Ernst Wallimann died in 1970. From then on, the hand organ part was often taken over by Hugo Limacher, Walter or Clemens Gerig and Georges Odermatt.
In 2013 the chapel was closed.
